Painted Desert Sheep
We incorporated painted desert sheep to our operation in late 2022. Our goats were doing their job on clearing brush on land that we lease. But left the pastures with somewhat of an un uneven look. We brought in the sheep to eat down some of the grass to give the pastures a cleaner look after rotating to the next paddock. We chose hair sheep to prevent any added work of shearing, and for their gorgeous colors and horns. And haven't looked back since. We now run the ewes with our nanny goats. And grow out rams for high fence game ranches.
